This carpet design is made by American interior designer Kelly Wearstler in around 2010. It was made by The Rug Company. The hand-knotted piece is made of grey Tibetan wool with the motif in oliv-green silk. The line pattern of the motive reminds of the texture of rocks like marble.



The carpet measures 488 x 365 cm. It is in good condition with signs of wear.



Kelly Wearstler (born 1967)

American interior designer Kelly Wearstler early has been influenced by her mother who also worked in that field. She founded her own design studio Kelly Wearstler Interior Design in 1995. She started decorating houses and hotels to great success. Her style is influenced by Hollywood glamour and modernism. Besides interior design, she makes fashion as well.
