This is a vintage 1940s Alberto Varga pin-up with verse by Phil Stack titled Peace, It's Wonderful!.

Centerfold from Esquire magazine. Great colors.

From the estate of a big pin-up collector who archived prints and stored them flat in protective sleeves.

SIZE: Approx. 13 1/2" x 18".

Alberto Varga/Vargas was considered to be one of the best pin-up artists and was made famous in the 1940s as the creator of the pin-up girls for Esquire magazine. Alberto's models were always women with idealized proportions with his trademark: long slender fingers with red painted nails.
