Epiphone revives the prestige of its 1930's guitars with the Masterbuilt Acoustic Series. These flat top guitars feature solid wood construction and a distinctive 1930's style "offset notch" peg-head shape with historic Epiphone script logo and mother-of-pearl "stickpin" inlay. As with all Masterbuilt's, the AJ-500M features a solid Sitka spruce top, hand-scalloped Sitka spruce braces, and mahogany knerffling along with a rosewood bridge and bone saddle. The AJ-500M also has mahogany back and sides. The advanced jumbo shape provides deeper bass, ringing highs and a crystal clear mid-range with none of the muddiness often associated with dreadnoughts. Minimal scuffs and dings. Very good condition. Plays easy. These are very nice guitars. Case not included.
The AJ-500M includes quality vintage-style Grover Sta-Tite 18:1 ratio machine heads, a bone nut and saddle, solid nickel hardware, and a bound body, neck and headstock.
