In a mahogany banjo style case with gilt brass eagle finial, brass door bezel, pierced brass side arms, presentation lower bracket with fluted carving, turned spherical mounts and acorn teardrop finial; reverse painted throat glass with gilt eagle, shield & filigree, reverse painted tablet with battle scene depicting the U.S.S. Constitution and the HMS Guerriere in the battle of 1812. In good condition, holes in dial & back plate do not all line up, has Chelsea instruction booklet and presentation plaque inside of the case to John G. Stewart, 1950-1970, for a job well done, our deepest appreciation, W.W.E.M.A.
