清-銅鎏金龍尊地藏王菩薩
地藏菩薩(梵语:Ksitigarbha),因其“安忍不動,猶如大地,靜慮深密,猶如秘藏”,所以得名。造像高大,站立在覆式蓮花座。地藏菩薩頭戴寶冠,束高髻,臉型豐滿圓潤,雙目低垂,面相寂靜。身著寬袍,胸飾瓔珞,腹部結帶,神龍盤纏其中,張牙睜目,威武缽常。右手特斧,左手托明珠,寶珠又稱摩尼寶、如意寶。球形,頂有火焰。指能如自己意願,而變現出種種珍寶之寶珠。此寶珠尚有除病、去苦等功德。一般用以譬喻法與佛德,及表征經典之功德。據佛典記載,地藏菩薩是受佛陀之托在佛涅盤后,彌勒成佛前教化眾生,地藏信仰在漢地和日本非常盛行,但是在西藏不及觀音、文殊等菩薩,造像數量較少,因此藏傳佛教造像中地藏造像尤為珍貴。

Single-cast, tall figure standing on a round double lotus base, his face with a benign expression with downcast eyes with gentle smile, flanked by long pierced lobes, the hair arranged in tight curls and rising to a domed ushnisha framed by pendulous ears. Draped with long flowing robes finely incised with floral borders. Holding a pearl on the left and an axe on the right, with a writhing dragon coiled around his robes and hovering above his head with extended hands. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s mission is to help and deliver those in suffering without judgment.
