ENGLISH LIVERPOOL AND NEW HALL PORCELAIN TEAWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Pennington's saucer dish polychrome painted with red and scalloped line above a Chinoiserie scene of women in a garden under a red leafy tree, and a New Hall teapot and cover of London shape, painted with a Mandarin-type pattern of figures in gardens near pavilions. Both unmarked. Circa 1780 and later. 7 3/4" D, the saucer and 6 1/4" H, the teapot.



Condition

Good to moderate, the first with staining and discoloration due to exposure to heat; the teapot with two firing cracks inside the body near the foot below handle, and a firing crack to rim.
