Late 19th century black chalk / pencil on laid watermarked paper sketch attributed to / in the manner of Vincent Van Gogh, in relation to a series of works known as "olive trees in mountain landscape" circa 1899. Including a small sketch of several trees on the reverse side. The drawing appears to perhaps have been cut out from a larger document.
Lot Note* Document contains watermark "P L BAS" A rare identifying mark seen in numerous other known works of Van Gogh. See the following link from our research.
