Lehigh Valley Railroad Lantern Made By Dietz Vesta Of New York. Galvanized steel kerosene lantern, with etched glass globe reading "L. V. R. R.". The lantern is marked Dietz Vesta on top, and measures 15" in height. Overall condition is good, with some rusting on the top and base. The lantern was used by the Lehigh Valley Railroad (LVRR) that ran from New York to Buffalo serving the anthracite coal district of eastern Pennsylvania, on up to Finger Lakes in New York and terminating on the shores of Lake Erie.
