Lot 7374
An RLB dagger made made by WKC. Grip is fitted with RLB insignia, a defining characteristic of the first model RLB dagger. The blade is in very good condition, exhibiting original factory crossgrain and some runner marks from the scabbard. The crossguards are stamped with "J.V. LOVELL", likely the original owner's name. The crossguards and pommel are in very good condition, and the grip is as well, save for a few pressure marks throughout. The blue enamel RLB insignia is precisely executed and in very good state. The scabbard's black lacquer finish is in good shape, and the metallic chape is dent free and well seated with screws seemingly untouched. Includes leather hanging strap. From the military collection of Dr. J. Diggs.
