The AEAA is very pleased to present this recent vintage, stunning & LEGAL WALRUS TUSK SCRIMSHAW, taken in a Federally Licensed, Native American Inuit Alaskan yearly hunt, presented to and hand carved by the respected Dave Oakie of Shish, Alaska. As this yearly Native American Inuit peoples hunt is legal, and constitutes part of their source of food and barter, these walrus bones / tusks etc. form a basis for their very survival. Our solid tusk, by Alaska native Dave Oakie, honors the age old traditional Inuit hunting method in his carving. Our legal tusk comes with a bone finger stand, is 2 inches thick, weighs 1# 8 oz., and is 14 inches long, and is in wonderful condition.
