Jack Cacciatore UVA Rotunda "The Honor Men" Beautifully matted & framed Jack Cacciatore photograph of the University of Virginia's Rotunda at dusk paired with printed calligraphy of "The Honor Men" poem by James Hay, Jr. in 1903. Photograph is signed in gold pen to bottom right, with full framed height of approximately 24" and width of 16-3/4". Jack Cacciatore is a professional photographer based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Popular for his many Central Virginia landscapes and University of Virginia (his alma mater) photographs, he has also traveled extensively and has an impressive collection of landscape photographs from around the world. James Hay Jr., author of the the poem, also attended the University of Virginia, & as a fourth-year student wrote “The Honor Men,†as a poem for publication in the annual Corks and Curls. Hay wrote, “Remembering the purple shadows of the lawn, the majesty of the colonnades, and the dream of your youth, you may say in reverence and thankfulness: I have worn the honors of Honor, I graduated from Virginia.â€
