An extremely fine example of the pictured sand bottles created by Andrew Clemens, deaf mute, of Macgregor Iowa. This bottle presents the year 1887 in the center of a floral spray against a grey sand oval in a colorful geometric field. This excellent quality bottle, from when Andrew was at the height of his ability, has what is one of the cleanest and most crisp paper labels, inscribed in pencil its $1.00 price in 1887. Height 5 1/2 Inches (14.0 cm) Width 2 Inches (5.0 cm)
