1700S TOY HORSE FROM A DELAWARE SHIPWRECK
Pewter horse, 2" x 1 1/2", likely once accompanied by a soldier, recovered from the Delaware River during dredging. Believed to have been from a cargo of goods headed to Philadelphia. Includes a photocopy from a book describing colonial artifacts, showing a similar object. Corroded from long immersion in water, else good.
