RICHMOND LIGHT INFANTRY BLUES DRESS UNIFORM, comprising a double-breasted jacket, trousers, leather belt, metal-lined leather cartridge box with script "R.L.I.B." emblem, additional script "R.L.I.B." emblem in box, tar-bucket type hat with spread wing eagle boss, likely original hat box marked "Co. B / 43", and assorted plumes and tassels; jacket buttons bear the state seal and motto of Virginia, and are marked to the back for either Horstmann or Jacob Reed's Sons, each of Philadelphia. First quarter 20th century.

Very good condition overall, expected wear and minor staining/discoloration, missing one button to breast; hat in expected lesser condition with boss loose, some scratches and wear, and possibly lacking some elements; additional script emblem lacks two attachment "pins", box with expected wear and minor losses. Trousers likely later replacement.
