Fully restored Steinway & Sons Model 'C' semi-concert grand art case piano, circa 1884, serial number 50541, having a parcel gilt, carved, and paint decorated Rococo Revival case, the top and sides embellished with hand painted cartouches depicting Venetian scenes surrounded by gilt scrollwork, above a carved anthemion frieze, rising on a base composed of four high relief carved putti supports, conjoined by gilt acanthus scrollwork and floral swags, the putti resting on naturalistic bases and later casters, 42"h x 84"l x 55"d.
