Description
JAPAN, 17TH- 18TH CENTURY

A fine 1650 to 1750 Samurai Katana sword. The sword posses a iron Tsuba with two Seppas. The shark skin wrapped handle posses a dragon Menuki. The Habaki displays a beautiful gold wash with falling rain pattern. The tang posses three holes. The blade possesses a active rolling Hamon. The Saya still possesses its original lacquer finish. Overall this a beautiful sword that displays wonderfully.

The blade length from notch up is 28 1/8" and overall 35 1/4".
Condition
Overall very good condition. Photos show all. The scabbard showing some wear and unwrapping. The blade is in good condition, does not appear to be sharpened.
