Description
Thomas W. Solomon (American,1815-1988) Oil on board painting depicts locomotive, "103" Sylvania Central. Signed in lower right corner, "Thomas W. Solomon 1-1975". Set in painted wood frame, measuring 20" H x 28" W. Additional articles of documentation accompany painting, including a two-page letter dated February 27, 1975 signed by the artist, a Kodachrome transparent slide of the painting and note dated February 15, 1975 signed by the artist, two black and white glossy photographs of the painting and a type written document with description of the painting and artist.
