P-024 Lot of 3 Trans-oceanic philatelic items. Includes: (1) Air Mail first day cover - cachet with "FIRST FLIGHT TO ASIA - F.A.M. No. 14 - SAN FRANCISCO TO HONG KONG". Also typed "China Clipper First flight, via Macau". Both a 20-cent and a 50-cent "China Clipper" air mail stamp are postmarked "UTICA NY - APR 19...1937" and "RECEIVED 3.MAY 1937" in Singapore. (2) Legal size ari mail envelope sent from the Savage Arms Corporation to a passenger on the S.S. President Lincoln via the purser on the S.S. President Hoover - embarking at Honolulu. With three 25-cent "China Clipper" stamps. Postmarked "UTICA NY - MAR 12...". A 1936 mailing. (3) Special printed post card of the German six-engine, above wing, sea plane. View of the aircraft and photo of the sender. With "DORNIER Do. - Porto Rico to New York City, August, 1931 - MY FOURTH ATLANTIC FLIGHT - Compliments of GEORGE N. CROUSE, President - CROUSE GROCERY CORP, UTICA, N.Y.". 5-cent winged globe air mail stamp and a 1931 New York postmark. Torn. II-
