F-065 Named grouping of an American GI who served in the CBI Theater of Operations. Includes: (1) Four pocket tunic with theater-made bullion CBI and Ledo Road shoulder patches, Technician 5th Grade chevrons, "Ruptured Duck" and 18 months o'sesas bars. (2) Trousers (excellent). (3) OD shirt (Excellent). (4) Transport o'seas cap. (5) 1943-type duffle bag - with name and serial number. (6) M1 helmet -fixed bale. Liner is complete with all straps. Narrow leather chinstrap is split. (7) Forty-eight star American flag. Maker's label and "VICTORY BUNTING FLAG" on border. 3' x 5'. Excellent. (8) U.S. combat knife. 6 7/8" double-edged graying blade. Short turned-down crossguard, leather rings grip and black plastic butt. Leather scabbard and knife fit the description of a Case WWII combat knife. (9) Theater-made CBI patches: leather 8" x 6 1/4", leather 3 7/8" x 3 1/8", silk 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". marked "arrow" and "BC" and two embroidered on tan cloth. (10) Ledo Road theater-made 6-piece leather shoulder patch 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". (11) Lot of thirteen embroidered insignia, chevrons and "Ruptured Ducks". (12) Boxed named Good Conduct medal. (13) Miscellaneous collar insignia: theater-made pair of silver/enameled Chinses Nationalist "sun" pin-back discs - crudely marked "SILVER", Marksman, Sharpshooter and Expert Badges. With a rifle bar and three collar insignia - "US", Transport and MP crossed pistols. (14) Souvenir silvered cigarette case. Engraved map of greater India, listing areas and major cities also highlighted with a red stone for each. Aged patina. (15) Actual will of the above GI which is dated "March 2d, 1944". (16) Lot of 21 8" x 10" post war photos of the above individual with friends and family. (17) Miscellaneous - theater made 4" blade folding knife. Marked "No 55 - RASHID & CH". Horn grips, four piece officer mess utensils, cast M1/bayonet letter opener, brass "CORPS OF ENGINEERS - US ARMY" desk plaque, "Son in Service" window flag and a military balloon. II
