Described by Bruns as the "How-To-Do book of the period. Tarpon are called tarpum. The author recommend the things to take along on a wilderness fishing trip," and advises that "you will not need a Bowie or revolver, as Indians are not dangerous now." Bruns H209 "rare"; Wetzel, p. 159
