BY JOHN QUINCY ADAMS. THIS BOUND JOURNAL IS A VERY EARLY COPY OF LETTERS WRITTEN BY JOHN QUINCY ADAMS TO HIS SON WHILE HE WAS AMBASSADOR TO RUSSIA. IT COULD HAVE BEEN COMPILED BY SOMEONE NAMED EUSTIS IN 1836. THE HANDWRITING AND SIGNATURE RESEMBLES THAT OF ADAMS BUT WE ARE NOT SURE WHO WROTE THIS INTERESTING JOURNAL. IT IS 7 1/2" X 6" WITH MARBLEIZED BOARDS. IN USED CONDITION SHOWING WEAR, DISCOLORATION AND CHIPPING TO RIGHT CORNER.
