Roman Empire, ca. 2nd to 4th centuries CE. This is a well thrown circular plate on a raised foot. It has a thick, reinforced rim and a lightly raised omphalos in tondo. There is a workshop stamp reading LOSSAEEC, which is a known pottery stamp published by by the Römisch-Germanische Kommission des Kaiserlichen Archäologischen Instituts in their annual report (Bericht über die fortschritte der römisch-germanischen forschung im jahre 1904).
