Late 19th century, with blue overglaze beehive mark and further marked ''37087'', ''Germany'' and other rubbed markings, the flared foliate-decorated rim over a waisted body, with handles to sides, decorated with a scene of the Calydonian boar hunt, with further gilt decoration on a copper luster ground, above a turned socle and a square base, 18'' H x 10'' W x 8.5'' D, est:$2000/3000. Provenance: Property from the Marjorie Bacon Trust, Montecito, CA

Condition

Good condition overall. Decoration very well executed. Light marks, scratches and rubbing to surface, particularly to corners and edges. Some tiny raised elements rubbed off.
