Jaques Dupré Plantation House, Jarreau, Pointe Coupée Parish, LA Note: This German print depicts the celebration of the victory of the Sixth Coalition (Russia, Austria and Prussia) over Napoleon Bonaparte's French Empire. France surrendered on March 31, 1814, which led to Napoleon's abdication of the throne and his exile to the Mediterranean island of Elba.
