Antique 1922 Hardcover Canadian Hunting & Fishing Book. "With Gun and Rod in Canada by Phil H. Moore. HARDCOVER. 1922 Houghton, Mifflin Company 1st American Edition, 1st printing; w/ Date: "1922" on Title page & "First Published 1922" & no additional printings on copyright page. Exactly as shown in the listing scan(s). Nice Collectible 1st American edition 1st printing hardcover copy. "Fly-fishing, canoeing, and hunting moose and bear in Nova Scotia, especially around Lake Rossignol by Phil Moore. Moore was an American who lived some 40 years in Nova Scotia. Nicely illustrated with vintage photos. All plates are present." Illustrated with vintage photos. It appears the 1st blank end paper was removed & a new blank was inserted, o/w internally tight & unmarked. Binding Exterior; red spine & gray boards hardcover with heavy handling wear to edges & rear cover/soiling to covers, but all lettering on spine label & cover decoration readable.
