Japanese enameled and under glazed Arita porcelain vase, 20th century, pre 1940, tapered ovoid form molded with two hoshigaki (persimmons) with blue leaves hanging from a branch, Fukagawa Sei mark at the base, 6.5''h. Persimmons are an iconic Japanese symbol of triumph and are a traditional gift item sent to friends and family around the New Year. Very good condition. 1 pd 2 oz.
