(lot of 2) Very fine Japanese Yabu Meizan Satsuma miniature earthenware lidded jars, c. 1900, finely decorated with mountainous landscape, removable lids with dense floral decoration, marked underfoot ‘Yabu Meizan’, 2.5"h, 0.25lbs Start Price: $1500.00

8.17.16- Regarding lot 762, the Japanese Yabu Meizan Satsuma Earthenware jars, they were inspected under u.v. light, and are in very good condition. No issues to note. 8.18.16: Regarding lot 762, additional findings include one jar with marks to interior rim that glow red under black light, appear to be scratches. Possible minor touch up to same jar's rim above scratch visible under black light. One lid has a slight thickness underneath that may explain why it doesn't sit completely flush on either jar.
