United States; 5,000-10,000 years old. Large pristine and very rare speciman of Bison Occidentalis skull. A group of skeletal remains of this extinct form were found in a peat bog in Minnesota in the 1980's. This example is one of the largest and finest of that group. It was purchased in the 1990s from noted paleontologist Henry Gilliano of Maxilla and Mandible, NYC.
