  • Arranged by Claude Gill, Master Mariner
  • Edward W Sweeten Facsimile edition from the 1794 edition with "reproduced by photolithographic process from the 1932 edition" on copyright page, ca. 1970
  • Vintage illustrated hardcover on rigging, masts, and sails. Profusely illustrated with numerous black and white plates, drawn to scale and five loose plates numbered ii - vi (plate number I is in text at page five) in rear pocket. All loose plates are present in rear pocket and unmarked/undamaged. All lettering/decoration bright on exterior binding.

    Description: "Originally published in 1794, the tables in this edition are reprinted from the 1806 edition. A very well produced reprint of the 1794 edition, this book was produced in 1970's, is drawn to scale, illustrating the masts, sails, yards, rigging, etc., for every class of vessel from the full rigged ship to the ship's boat, including the progressive method of rigging ships, and an illustrated section describing the principal foreign rigs."
