This set consists of a 32 cm mother Teddy bear and a 10 cm baby Teddy; both are fully jointed and made from blonde mohair. The baby rests in a small red and blue stenciled wooden cradle. The cradle linens are made from red and white checked cotton. The interior of the box is illustrated with a drawing of some of the scenic highlights of Giengen - the town where Steiff is located. This set was made from 1984-1987 in an edition size of 16,000 pieces. Box is in good condition but the front plastic cover has a crack on one edge and has darkened over time. This set is number 592/16,000. Mother bear has all of her IDs including her special chest tag, numbered ear tag, and button. Baby with ear button, the only ID it ever had.
