A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN PEAR FORM BOTTLE VASE, SHIPWRECK ARTIFACT, POSSIBLY MING DYNASTY OF THE WANLI PERIOD (1573-1619), with a short cylindrical neck swelling to a bulbous body and sides centering underglaze blue vertical panels of blossoming foliage, alternating horses amidst sinuous flaming devices galloping towards stylized waves. Height: 11" Diameter: 5 1/2"

Condition

Good condition, some light marine encrustations, surface buildup, areas of glaze dulled by salt water, some normal surface marks and small scratches.
