A LARGE JAPANESE POLYCHROME ENAMELED PORCELAIN CHARGER, SIGNED, IMPRESSED SQUARE FORM MARK, 20TH CENTURY, of circular shallow bowl form and centering ladies, young girls and attendants wearing traditional attire while at various pursuits in a fenced garden of blossoming prunus trees, chrysanthemums, and peonies, interspersed with reticulated rockwork and featuring a colorful long tailed peacock, within a rim border of continuous ruyi, reversing to an underside with a short conforming foot enclosing an impressed four character mark. Diameter: 18"


Good condition, with some small utensil scratches, some areas of overglaze enamel flaking, primarily on the black hair of the maiden figures.
