An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant, with chain. Of openwork designed, the circular peridot, within a split-pearl and foliate panel, with tapered split-pearl surmount, suspended from a later curb-link chain. AF. Length of pendant 4.4cms. Length of chain 42cms. Total weight 9.1gms.
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Seed pearls deficient.
  • Peridot bright yellowish-green, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Split-pearls silvery-grey, slightly discoloured, with green and pinkish overtones with fairly good lustre.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Pendant with plaque applied to the reverse marked '15ct'

  • Chain with spring-ring stamped 9ct.
