    William Klein is an American-born French photographer and filmmaker. He is known for the unusual photographic techniques he employed in his photojournalism and fashion photography. He initially trained as a painter under Fernand Leger before achieving international fame as a photographer for Vogue and for his photo essays of various cities, such as Moscow. He was ranked 25th on Professional Photographer's list of 100 most influential photographers.
