A Japanese stoneware / ceramic bowl. Ogata Kenzan (1663-1743). Deep grey ground bowl having a scalloped edge shaped as flower petals. The interior and exterior handpainted with overglaze enamels depicting a multitude of flowers, vines and stems. Signed underfoot. Measures 4-5/8" high, 9" diameter.
