early 1920s, face signed "TIFFANY & CO./NEW YORK", works signed "HERSCHEDE/CINCINNATI/13187", engraved face and Arabic counters, mahogany cabinet includes iron bracket with "HERSCHEDE Symphony RODS/PAT.PEND.", lot includes pendulum and key, 14-3/4 in.,. Condition: good condition, recently cleaned and in working order. Notes: Herschede Hall Clock Company received two major awards at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, 1915, including grand prize for chime hall clocks and mantel clocks. By the early 1920s branch sales offices had been opened in New York City, Chicago and San Francisco.
