Late 19th/early 20th century, each with blue intertwined ''L'' maker's mark centering ''A'', with unidentified pronged decorator's mark, each decorated throughout the bleu celeste ground with gilt-painted latticework and red and white ''jewels'', the saucer reserved with a circular cartouche depicting a still life, the cup reserved with an oblong cartouche depicting a courting couple in a bucolic setting, framed within a velvet-lined giltwood shadow box, overall: 15.5'' H x 12'' W x 4.75'' D, est: $1000/2000

Condition

Overall good condition, with general wear, surface scratches and two deficient ''jewels'' commensurate with age. Not examined outside of the shadow box; each has been glued into the backing. Giltwood frame with minor rubbed wear commensurate with age.
