A letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel, Brooklyn, 1963.
In response to a letter from parents whose child is ill and who want their son's name to be mentioned at the grave of the Rebbe Rayatz.
In his letter the Rabbi replies that "In a time of grace he will be mentioned at the grave".
Later in the letter the Rebbe adds words of encouragement: "The Jewish man and woman must be strong in their faith in G-d that He is the healer of all flesh who performs wonders€and addition in matters of Torah and Mitzvot€".
Printed letter. The Rebbe's handwritten signature is in the margins of the letter. Corrections of punctuation in the Rebbe's handwriting between the sentences and words.
Under the signature is a comment: "My secretaries do not write in French, therefore the response is in the Holy Language, but they can write in French as I can read that language".
