Beautiful wood cabinet with fold out sink and tilt mirror. These cabinets were used in steam ship cabins circa late 1800's and early 1900's. The sink is hinged so it can be pulled out of the cabinet. In the back of the cabinet are two holes so water can be poured into the copper holding tank. Depressing the button on the faucet releases the water into the sink. When finished just tilt the sink up and the water runs through another pipe into the used holding tank underneath. this tank can be emptied by opened the door and pulling the holding tank out. The cabinet also contains two porcelain cups in the sink compartment. Two storage drawers under the mirror and two storage doors at the bottom of the cabinet. All the drawers and doors are secured by brass hardware. An extremely cool piece in excellent condition.
