The claret having gilt silver spout, neck, and handle, lid with foliate trim against pebbled ground surmounted by reticulated thumbrest, neck with conforming foliate design and blank cartouches framed by beaded borders, figural handle with beaded trim extending length, glass body with intaglio scene to obverse of an allegorical male riding chariot led by four horses, cartouche with small foliate bouquet to reverse, raised on gilt framed base housing glass hobstar.
Apparent glass sickness to interior towards base, light nicking and pin dents to neck, some surface scratches to glass to exterior and interior, rubbingto the gilding, with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
