The billowing clouds of smoke cast a dark pall over the city. The photographer, A. Blumberg, was based in Alameda, though this photograph was obviously taken in San Francisco. Provenance: Joseph V. Costello.

Condition

Some silvering in the emulsion, fading at edges, very good.
