Walker & Hall (English (Sheffield), 1852-1963), circa first half 20th century. A silver plated round mirror plateau or plat comprising round body with incurvate top edge chased with scrolling foliates, raised on three hairy paw feet with acanthine details, and having inset round mirror top, the underside in stained wood. Monogrammed to frieze "WWGA". Marked beneath one foot "51585 / WALKER & HALL / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND / 71" below the maker's mark. Approximate diameter 12", width over feet 12.25", height 2.25".
