CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF A LADY, watercolor on ivory, attractive sitter in partial profile, wearing pearls, including jeweled headband, patterned shawl draped over her shoulder, signed "F. W.", backing paper verso bearing old ink inscriptions. Housed under glass in a period gilt-brass frame. 19th century. 3 1/8" x 2 1/4" sight.
