STERLING SILVER CARD CASE, with bright-cut and molded decoration, cartouche to face with monogram, cartouche to reverse with "June 6th, 1877", marked for Whiting Mfg. Together with a jewelry case of unknown association. Two pieces total. Total silver weight: 2.065 ozt. Late 19th/early 20th century. Card case 4 1/4" x 2 3/8".
Nearly undamaged, with only a few minor dents to corners; jewelry case with wear and staining, loss to interior lining.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.
