GERMAN NYMPHENBURG PORCELAIN FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, in blanc de chine and no overglaze or enamel, comprising two putti/cherub figures on pedestals, one being Fortuna kneeling on a globe with a long scarf raised above the shoulder. Both impressed with Nymphenburg shield, one impressed with "777a" and the other impressed with "492a". Nymphenburg Porcelain Factory, Nymphenburg, Germany. Late 18th/19th century. 6 1/2" and 7" H.
Excellent undamaged condition.
Catalogue Note: Modeled after Franz Anton Bustelli's mid 18th century series of putti/cherub figures depicting designs including Bacchus, Ceres, and Hercules.
