FRENCH FAUBOURG ST. DENIS PARIS PORCELAIN DISHES, LOT OF TWO, having a lobed and fluted rim with polychrome enamel floral sprays on interior and gilding. One having red "CP" with crown design on base, "CP" representing Charles Phillippe, the patron of the company. Faubourg St. Denis Porcelain, Paris, France. Late 18th/early 19th century. 9 1/2" D.
One has two 1" and 1 1/4" hairline cracks on rim, otherwise undamaged with some wear to interiors and gilding.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.
