ROLEX - a gentleman's Precision wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case with engraved case back, hallmarked Birmingham 1948. Numbered 182400. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 30mm. Movement is currently functioning, however the winding action is at fault and will require attention.Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial has marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to have been refinished.Hands show marks and tarnishing. Glass has scratches and marks. Case shows marks and scratches. Case back features a presentation engraving dated 31.12.48.Crown has scratches and marks. Crown appears to be a later non-branded replacement and is not sitting against the case correctly. Winding action is at fault and will require attention.Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing. Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
