An early 17th or 18th century etching by Paulus Pontius (Paul du Pont) of Gerardus Segers (Gerard Seghers on fine hand laid paper). Appears to be state VI of VI. Measures a total of 9.5" tall x 7" wide (image), and 10.85" tall x 7.75" wide (sheet). Foolscap watermark just above lower margin, unknown circular embossing at lower left corner. Condition: remnants of hinges at upper right and left corners, some red ink on backside at upper right corner which can be seen through paper, ironed crease horitzontal through middle, tiny crease lower left corner, see images.
