Lot of six Bob Stocksdale (American, 1913-2003) wood items comprising a round, Texan live oak bowl (signed and dated 1982), an apricot blackwood lowbowl (signed and dated 1984), a wood lowbowl (signed and wood identified on underside, however worn) and three small Hawaiian koa plates. Stocksdale was a master woodcrafter with a studio in Berkeley, CA who helped transform woodworking from utilitarian to an artform. His works are displayed in the Oakland Museum, the Metropolitan Museum and the Smithsonian Museum. Plates: 6" diam. Largest Bowl: 4"h x 7.12" diam.
