A fine Chinese Ming blue and white porcelain charger, stoutly potted with gently rounded sides rising from a short gently tapering foot, the broad central interior decorated with a Kirin standing fiercely on a rock-work against trees. Interior rim decorated by winged sea dragons flying amidst flaming clouds above rock-work and LiShui water. Exterior decorated with lotus blossom surrounded by rococo scrolling foliage, bordered by repeated ruyi patterns.
Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine rings, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming.
